- Long Stay car park (~15 min walk to terminal) is free for the first 2 hours. Free shuttle bus from Long Stay every 10 min.
- Blue Badge holders
- Blue Badge holders exempt — register vehicle on Gatwick's exemption portal in advance.
- Notes
- Steep increase: £5 (early 2024) → £6 (mid-2024) → £10 (January 2026). The biggest jump of any UK airport. Both North and South Terminal forecourts charged 24/7.
Stansted Airport

- Pay before exit at on-site machines, online, or via the Stansted Airport app.
- Free alternative
- Mid Stay car park is free for 60 minutes pickup. Long Stay charges apply but is cheapest for 1+ hour stops.
- Blue Badge holders
- Blue Badge holders entitled to extra time but charge still applies — check official page for current policy.
- Notes
- Charge applies 24/7. Always verify the current overage rate on the official page before travelling — Stansted has historically been the most expensive for stays beyond 15 minutes.
Luton Airport

- Mid Term car park: 15 minutes free for drop-off (walking distance to terminal).
