Silverstone events we cover

Fixed-price Aylesbury to Silverstone transfers for the F1 British Grand Prix, MotoGP, Silverstone Classic, BTCC, track days and corporate hospitality. Price stays £60 estate even on race weekends.

Most of our Silverstone bookings cluster around four event types: the F1 British Grand Prix (2026 dates: Friday 3 July to Sunday 5 July), the British MotoGP in late summer, the Silverstone Festival (formerly Classic) in August, and corporate track days through the autumn. Whatever the event, the fare is fixed in advance — no race-weekend surge pricing.

Route from Aylesbury to Silverstone

A413 north through Whitchurch and Buckingham, then A43 west to the Silverstone turn-off. Outside race weekends the run is consistently around 50 minutes. For Grand Prix weekend we recommend leaving 90 minutes earlier than usual and using the local-knowledge back routes around Towcester to avoid the M40/A43 bottleneck.

2026 Grand Prix: official taxi access and drop-off points

For the 2026 F1 British Grand Prix, traffic restrictions and road closures are in place in the villages around Silverstone Circuit. There are no access, drop-off or pick-up points for taxis and private hire vehicles at the circuit itself. Fans are dropped off and collected at designated transfer points and travel on to the circuit by the Silverstone shuttle bus service.

This is official guidance issued to licensed operators for the 2026 event. The shuttle bus must be pre-booked online before boarding. We drop you at whichever transfer point suits your journey best, and we agree the same point for your return collection when you book. For a full breakdown of every way to reach the circuit, see our guide to getting to Silverstone for the 2026 British Grand Prix.

Post-race collection: how it works

Because there is no taxi access at the circuit on Grand Prix weekend, your return works the same way in reverse: take the Silverstone shuttle bus back to your agreed transfer point (Towcester Racecourse and Buckingham are the closest to Aylesbury), and we collect you there. We confirm the exact meeting spot in your booking confirmation. This avoids the 2-3 hours of gridlock that surrounds the circuit gates after a major race.

Vehicles available

Estate (up to 4 adults + small bags) at £60 one-way. Estate car (up to 4 adults + larger boot) at £95 one-way — useful if you've got cool boxes, camping kit, or extra luggage for the weekend. Both fully licensed and insured for the journey.

Frequently asked questions

How much is a taxi from Aylesbury to Silverstone?
Fixed £60 estate (up to 4) or £95 estate car (up to 4, larger boot) one-way. Return journeys quoted separately. Price stays the same on F1 weekends — no surge.
Can I hail you at the circuit after the race?
No. For the 2026 Grand Prix there are no taxi access or pick-up points at the circuit at all. You return on the Silverstone shuttle bus to a designated transfer point (Towcester Racecourse and Buckingham are closest to Aylesbury) and we collect you there. As licensed Private Hire we cannot accept street hails, and all return journeys must be pre-booked.
What time should I leave for the British Grand Prix?
For 2026: race day is Sunday 5 July with a 14:00 lights-out — we recommend a 09:30 pick-up from Aylesbury. Saturday qualifying (4 July) and Friday practice (3 July) are noticeably easier — 90 minutes before session start is usually enough.
Do you cover Silverstone Classic and track days?
Yes — same fixed price, easier traffic. For corporate track days we also offer a wait-and-return option (driver stays with the car for the day) — quoted on request.

Need a longer or one-off journey?

We also cover UK-wide long-distance bookings from Aylesbury — fixed quotes, no per-mile metering.
