The two Luton Airport lounges
No1 Lounge is on the ground floor next to Gate 17. It's the more traditional business-lounge setup — buffet with hot food available, a fully tended bar with premium beers, wines and spirits, apron and runway views, and some workspace-style seating. Open daily, 04:00–20:00.
My Lounge sits after security and duty-free, next to Accessorize. It's the newer, more relaxed of the two, with a self-service grazing menu, a games room, a dedicated family seating area and a "loft style living" design with 135 seats. Open daily, 04:00–21:00 — an hour later than No1 Lounge, useful for later evening departures.
Both lounges include free Wi-Fi and charging points throughout, TVs, and newspapers and magazines — so there's no need to buy a SIM top-up or find a socket airside before boarding. Both also reserve the right to refuse entry for unsuitable attire — fancy dress, offensive slogans, sports shirts, beach flip-flops, vests or clothing exposing midriffs — so smart-casual travel wear is the safe choice.

How to get into a Luton lounge — cost by route
- Priority Pass, DragonPass or LoungeKey membership. Entry is included, but both lounges charge a booking fee from £6 per person to guarantee a reserved slot — space for members isn't guaranteed without it, given demand.
- Amex Platinum (UK or US). Access via the card's Priority Pass benefit with a same-day boarding pass; one guest is included free, extra guests are charged. Pre-booking is recommended.

Is a Luton lounge worth it?
With only two options and a straightforward single terminal, the usual question isn't "which lounge" so much as "lounge or not." At £38 for up to three hours, it comfortably beats buying food, drinks and a seat airside for two adults on an early-morning flight — Luton has a high proportion of 5am–7am short-haul departures where a lounge breakfast is the difference between a calm start and a rushed one. For a short-haul flight with under an hour before boarding, it's harder to get the value out of the visit.
Is No1 Lounge specifically worth it? For its price point, yes if you want hot food and a proper bar before an early flight — despite matching My Lounge on cost, it feels like the pricier-feeling of the two thanks to the tended bar and apron views.
Getting to your Luton lounge from Aylesbury
Luton is Aylesbury's closest major airport at around 26 miles via the A41 and A505, no motorway involved, typically a 30-minute run.
